Roger Martinez is a musician of many faces. A product of the ever reliable Dutch scene, Roger’s sound has mirrored the multi-layered soundscapes of his motherland, with his broad palette of emotive music finding favor amongst the key players in trance, progressive and, most latterly, techno circles. A genuine musician whose use of harmony and melody has earned him releases for many long-standing and highly respected labels including Armada, Vapour and GEM.
‘Get Up’ conveys a musical message as simple and direct as the title itself. A track that demands to be listened to due to the robust and all consuming bass that lies at its core and one that will move you via its soaring, euphoric musicality.
‘Second Sun’ offers more harmonic euphoria, this time arranged around a slower, swinging groove that emphasizes the warm, exhilarated vibe, which alongside Martinez’s intricate embellishments, make it such a bewitching track.
